By becoming a Relational Leader, you can: Change your interactions with the most difficult people in your life Create better outcomes for both you and themIt only takes one person to change the interaction and that person can be you.
You engage in multiple negotiations on a daily basis. Some are business transactions. Most are not. All have an opportunity usually unrealized. You can choose to be transactional (focused on maximizing the outcome for self – short term gain), or you can choose to be relational (focused on maximizing well-being for both self and others – long term gain). The opportunity is how to be in the interaction itself.
When you choose to engage relationally, shifts happen, impact occurs, and people are more receptive to you and your ideas. And, you are more receptive to them and theirs…. It’s all about how to be in the interaction.
This session will provide an overview of the Four Ways to Quality Interaction: Being Engaged, Being Centered, Being Grounded and Being Clear. You will learn practical skills for dealing with real situations and real people. Become more conscious, more discerning, and highly effective in negotiating difficult problems and difficult personalities, professionally and personally. As part of the session, selected participants will be invited to volunteer for a live consultation with Louise and Bill on how they can change the interaction with a difficult person. Participants will receive a signed copy of Being Relational, The Seven Ways to Quality Interaction and Lasting Change.
