The Conference, taking place in Montreal, Quebec, on November 15, 2012, is designed to provide attendees with a wide range of both traditional and innovative means of dealing with workplace bullying, pursuant to anti-bullying legislation adopted by the Province of Quebec in 2004.
What are the objectives of these laws? What conclusions can be drawn from the practices developed over the last years in response to bullying in the workplace? Depending on the path chosen to resolve the issues, what are consequences for the parties involved in the conflict? Are there any prevention methods in place? What are some of the current methods in place to respond to psychological harrasement?
The Mediation and Aritration Institute of Quebec invites all professionals involved in conflict resolution/transformation in the workplace to attend this conference and try to get answers to these questions.
The one-day conference will feature internationally renowned practitioners in the field of mediation, such as
John Peter Weldon, former Baltimore Mediation alumnus who has taken our learnings and developed a transformative practice in Canada, his home country. John Peter will talk about the benefits of transformative practice and how its tools can be used to resolve crises in human interaction in the workplace.
