A 40-Hour Training focusing on Sources of Conflict and a Systems Approach

Description:

This is a certificated 40-hour mediation training, part of our Mediation Core Curriculum designed to teach you everything you need to know to start mediating, either professionally or for daily use and practice. We’ll focus on mediation, conflict transformation and resolution theory and skills, with an emphasis on sources of conflict and a systems approach to conflict and intervention. The course emphasizes the following:

  • Understanding theory and practice as mediators, shapers of policy and academics: the mediation process and your own type and style
  • Explain conflict systems and the value of a relational approach
  • Hands-on conflict intervention skills necessary to mediate
  • Communication skills and conflict transformation how-to’s
  • Individual feedback from trainers addressing participants’ specific strengths and areas for continued development and excellence.

Dates: Monday, October 20 – Friday, October 24  – each day (9am – 5:00pm)

Course Fee: $1450

What’s Included: 40-hour certificated courses held over a period of five consecutive days (Monday – Friday), training manual and materials.
