Description: This is a certificated 40-hour mediation training, part of our Mediation Core Curriculum designed to teach you everything you need to know to start mediating, either professionally or for daily use and practice. We’ll focus on mediation, conflict transformation and resolution theory and skills, with an emphasis on fostering self-awareness to reduce personal reactivity, as well as reflection and active listening techniques to facilitate communication. The course emphasizes the following:
What’s Included: A 40-hour certificated course held over a period of five consecutive days (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday), training manual and materials.
A certificate noting 40 hours of attendance will be provided at the end of training. It may be used to apply for state circuit court rosters of approved mediators and for continuing education credits from the participant’s accrediting institution.

Cancellation Policy: Participants may cancel their registration up to 30 business days prior to the start date of the training to be entitled to a full refund, less $350 handling fee. Cancellations received 30 to 15 business days prior to the start date of the training to be entitled to a 50% refund, less $350 handling fee. Cancellations received within 14 business days prior to the start date will not be subject to any refund. This policy is due to the high level of customization we provide for each of our trainings.
