The Advanced Commercial Mediation Institute (“ACMI”) is an educational forum designed to further develop
advanced skills of professionals experienced in mediating commercial and business disputes. The program features
an interactive environment facilitated by leading practitioners and educators in the dispute resolution and related
fields.
This two day program is limited to 60 participants experienced in mediating complex commercial disputes so as to
facilitate extensive interaction among participants and faculty. Members of the American Arbitration Association’s
National Roster of Neutrals attending this program will receive A.C.E. credit.
Louise Phipps Senft, Nan Waller Burnett, internationally renowned mediator and trainer and founder of Dispute Resolution Professionals, Inc., together with international presenter, Jennifer Kresge will talk about
“The Master Practitioner Series: A Transformative Creative Worldview for the Commercial Mediator. The Brain, Mind and Reason: How Science Helps Us Understand Creative Choice” on Friday morning, September 14, from 8:45 am to 10 am.
They will explore the current research and work in creativity theory and neurobiology with specific application exploring the creative brain. Using interactive exercises the presenters will stimulate the creative and intuitive area of the brain and teach the attendees how the practitioner can use them to further enhance their own effectiveness at the table. Join these experienced mediators: Louise, a master of transformative conflict theory, Nan, a master of creativity and the brain, and Jennifer a master of brain science and educational theory, as they weave with you a tapestry of new thinking grounded in conflict theory and science and human spirit.
