This nationally recognized course provides the tools and theory critical in transforming conflict in the workplace and navigating difficult conversations with the help of a neutral third-party mediator. This training uniquely features an emphasis on EEOC protocol, mandated mediations, informal mediations, workplace and employee laws and statutes, and formal and informal complaints, and everyday workplace conflict.<\/p>\n<p>This is a nationally certificated 40-hour mediation training, part of Baltimore Mediation\u2019s Core Curricula designed to teach you everything you need to know to start mediating, either professionally or for daily use and practice. We\u2019ll focus on mediation, conflict transformation and resolution, Relational conflict theory and skills, personality and motivation awareness for the mediator, with an emphasis on fostering self-awareness to reduce personal reactivity, as well as Relational reflection and non-transactional listening and intervention techniques to facilitate communication, breakthroughs and quality decision making.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The course emphasizes the following:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Understanding Relational Conflict Theory and Transformative Practice of Mediation, as Mediators<\/li>\n<li>Self-Awareness Inventory and Development<\/li>\n<li>Conflict Intervention and Transformation Mindset Necessary to Mediate<\/li>\n<li>Relational Communication Skillset and Transformation \u201cHow-To\u2019s\u201d for breakthroughs<\/li>\n<li>Individual Feedback from Trainers, addressing Participants\u2019 Specific Strengths and Identifying Each person\u2019s growth edge for excellence<\/li>\n<li>Mastering and Understanding of Oneself as the Conflict Intervener<\/li>\n<li>Understanding the Motivations of Personality Working with the Enneagram<\/li>\n<li>Mastering the Skills of the \u201clittle m\u201d mediator for Everyday Conflict Management<\/li>\n<li>Understanding the workplace mediation process and mediator\u2019s role<\/li>\n<li>Understanding the protocol for how mediation works with EEOC and inhouse programs<\/li>\n<li>Understanding labor law and EEO Programs for informal and formal complaints<\/li>\n<li>Hands-on skills for everyday workplace conflict and conflict transformation how-to<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>What\u2019s Included: A 40-hour certificated course held over a period of five consecutive days (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday), Copyrighted 275 page training manual, copy of the Best-Seller <strong>Being Relational: the Seven Ways to Quality Interaction &amp; Lasting Change<\/strong> and materials.<\/p>\n<p>A certificate noting 40 hours of participation will be provided at the end of training for each person completing the course.
