Advanced Mediation Training: Working with Multiple Parties
Baltimore Mediation offers a 20 hour Multiple Parties Mediation Training
designed for specific agencies and organizations. Because this is an advanced
mediation training with advanced subject matter expertise, Baltimore Mediation
has only offered it to the public every other year on an interest demonstrated
basis. Call Baltimore Mediation for more information or fill out the Training

The focus of the 20 hour Multiple Party
Mediation Training is on the following:
- Understanding the role of the mediator to all participants
in a multiparty conflict.
- Understanding various decision-making processes for groups.
- Understanding how to track multiple threads of conversation
when mediating with multiple parties.
- Hands-on skills for multiple party conflict intervention and
conflict transformation how-to’s
- Best Practices for working with Multiple Parties
- Individual feedback from trainers addressing participants’
consideration: specific strengths and areas for betterment
- Certification for private and circuit court mediators and for
daily use and practice

The Maryland Circuit Courts
The United States government and all federal agency rosters
The Institute for the Study of Conflict Transformation
Most other states which have basic 20, 40 or 60 hour mediation training
requirements.
