Baltimore Mediation | Mediation, Facilitation, Training Better Process, Better Outcome

BILL SENFT

I assist families and businesses with difficult conversations in connection with financial planning, management and corporate control issues, family business succession planning and other disputes in the family and business context - practicing within the transformative framework of mediation.

I am a CPA and attorney. I came out of the Business School at the University of Virginia and worked as an accountant with Price Waterhouse before attending law school at Washington and Lee University where I graduated summa cum laude. I practiced bankruptcy and financial workout law at law firms in Baltimore and Washington DC - Shaw Pittman Potts & Trowbridge, Miles & Stockbridge - before embarking in 1993 on an independent career as a business and finance consultant, attorney and mediator.

For more than 15 years I have served as a finance consultant and legal advisor to entrepreneurs – with clients in many industries and the non-profit sector. I gained vast experience in corporate transactions, fundraising, tax and finance planning for families and family business, debt workouts and numerous other legal and financial areas. Meanwhile, I have been continuing my professional development with work in mediation and facilitating dialogue.

Louise and I have served and continue to serve our community through involvement in community organizations, our schools and our church. I look forward to assisting you with planning, dealing with crises and the conversations that, despite their difficulty and painfulness, need to take place in your family or business.
