BEVERLY HOVMAND, LCSW-C
Ms. Hovmand completed her undergraduate work at Simmons College, Boston, Massachusetts, graduate work at the University of Maryland School of Social work, and is a Maryland licensed clinical social worker. Ms. Hovmand brings fifteen years experience as consultant in the Employee Assistance Field to her work as mediator, facilitator, and trainer within organizational and workplace settings. As a psychotherapist, Ms. Hovmand has eighteen years experience working with individuals and families. In her private practice she specializes in assisting families post-divorce to effectively and successfully manage transitions. Beverly is currently training in ODR (Online Dispute Resolution), which she views as a tool for families and organizations to help resolve conflicts when geographical distance has to be considered. Ms. Hovmand is also a member of the Workplace Trauma Center, Owings Mills, Maryland and has worked for fifteen years as a responder to workplace crisis. |
